  • Benjamin MulHolland - Writer.Director

    Ben is an award winning Oakland based writer/ director, who has been turning small budgets into engaging motion pictures - most notably, The Lake Merritt Monster and the “M.O.A.B” series shorts. His biting action-satire web series “Pennies for the Juggernaut” was distributed online both domestically and internationally, garnering fans in Europe, South Korea, Japan and Australia.

    Ben’s films seek to explore topics related to mythology, politics and mysticism, while also incorporating the concepts of Shamanism and Taoism; while simultaneously finding the fun and thrill that only movies can give.

    Ben’s projects have screened at Cinequest, the Oakland International Film Festival, the Portland Film Festival, the San Diego Black Film Festival and the Langston Hughes African American Film Festival.

  • Rajal Pitroda - Producer

    Rajal is a producer of fiction and non-fiction films. She is a Women at Sundance Fellow, a Sundance Creative Producing Fellow, a Black Public Media 360 Incubator Fellow and an Impact Producing Fellow with Firelight Media. Rajal most recently produced “Down a Dark Stairwell,” a feature documentary that premiered at the 2020 True/False Film Festival and was broadcast on Independent Lens. Prior to producing, Rajal was the Founder/CEO of Cinevention, a media company focused on marketing and distribution, where she designed and executed distribution strategies for feature films. She has a degree in Economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from London Business School.

  • Debra Wilson - Producer

    Debra directed, wrote, and co-produced the award-winning 30-minute documentary Butch Mystique. After receiving a grant from Showtime, she produced/directed her next 30- minute documentary on gay marriage in the black community Jumpin’ the Broom: The New Covenant, that also premiered on Showtime and aired on Logo from 2004-2012. She also co-produced the narrative feature film Mississippi Damned that aired on Showtime in 2011 and debuted on Netflix 2015. In 2012 she produced the short narrative Crossover, and in 2014 produced another short narrative Ant for ITVS Futurestates. In 2015, Debra was a BAVC National MediaMaker Fellow.
